Very suprised at this little boutique hotel. Had concerns with staying at a Best Western but me and my 3 girlfriends were pleasantly suprised. Staff were super friendly and helpful, concierge very helpful. Breakfast included in price, delish pastries, bagels, cereals, toast etc...
The lobby is warm and welcoming with a beautiful fire place and free fruit bowl. The cosy, warm feel runs all the way through the hotel. The pool area is gorgeous, especially at night, nice to have a quiet drink, and I mean quiet, when me and my girlfriends were talking a bit loudly down by the pool, the staff were sure to tell us to keep it down. Good consideration for other guests.
The rooms were beautiful, If you are looking for peace and quiet ask for a room in the back facing the residential street, we didn't hear a peep- which was a big change after just staying in Time Square!! Beds were super comfy and clean, queen room was big enough for 4 girls to share, bathroom clean and large.
Location great, pleanty of dining places, bars, try Blazing Saddles across the road from hotel - so much fun and delish food. The hotel is in a great location to spot celebrities, because you are around the corner from hot nightclubs and famous restaurants. Although West Hollywood is a great spot with lots to do, you will need a car to get around to really see all of what LA has to offer. Or you could try the public transport which we found was kinda unreliable, one night we waited about 45 mins for a bus to Santa Monica, after beng told it came every 15 minutes. There was some shady characters on the bus too, but no dramas.
Overall, hotel was a 5 star experience at a fraction of the price!!
