We stayed at the Best Western Sunset Plaza for 3 nights just over 3 weeks ago. We were very happy with this hotel. Checking in and out was quick and easy, staff were friendly. The room we had was of a great size. Nice big bathroom and a small kitchenette with sink and fridge was very handy. Our room looked out onto the courtyard and pool and was very beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was really good with a selection of bagels, donuts, pastries, cereals, toast, fruit and juices to choose from. The location is great as you are right on the Sunset Strip - with House of Blues a 2 min walk and The Viper Room and Whisky A Go Go only maybe a 10-15min walk. I would defitnetly stay at this hotel again.

We just spend one night at the hotel but to be honest I don't have any complains.
The location is superb, which lots of restaurants and bars around. The hotel is clean and the rooms are big, but I have to say I wish we had one of the rooms looking at the swimming pool, which is really nice.
The breakfast was just ok.
I think it is a good hotel for the price we paid.
I will recommend it.

We stayed at the Best Western Sunset Plaza for 5 nights in October, 2007. We couldn't have been happier. Check-in was a breeze, we were checked in and in our rooms in under 10 minutes. The room was large with 2 extremely comfortable queen beds with duvets and heavenly pillows. The room also had a mini fridge and microwave. I had requested a poolside room (booked 6 months in advance) but didn't end up with one, no big deal we weren't in the room during the day anyway and when we were we went and sat by the pool. The courtyard is very quaint, beautiful flowers, lots of chairs, tables, towels etc. I was a little worried about noise as the hotel is right on Sunset but we didn't hear a thing. We didn't even hear noise from the hallways or the adjoining rooms. The continental breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and able to answer whatever questions we had. Parking wasn't a problem there was always lots of spots and it is very safe.
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Hollywood and would definitely stay there again.

I've stayed here 2 weeks and really enjoyed it.

Rooms are warm and inviting, parking is easy ($12 a day tho, but better than $18 at the Hyatt across the street)

Great Location, helpful staff. Awesome free breakfast in the morning.

Free high speed internet and newspaper.

This hotel has no complaints from me! It honestly is really really nice! I was skeptical in staying at a best western... but this one is fantastic! I'm coming back next week!

Very suprised at this little boutique hotel. Had concerns with staying at a Best Western but me and my 3 girlfriends were pleasantly suprised. Staff were super friendly and helpful, concierge very helpful. Breakfast included in price, delish pastries, bagels, cereals, toast etc...

The lobby is warm and welcoming with a beautiful fire place and free fruit bowl. The cosy, warm feel runs all the way through the hotel. The pool area is gorgeous, especially at night, nice to have a quiet drink, and I mean quiet, when me and my girlfriends were talking a bit loudly down by the pool, the staff were sure to tell us to keep it down. Good consideration for other guests.

The rooms were beautiful, If you are looking for peace and quiet ask for a room in the back facing the residential street, we didn't hear a peep- which was a big change after just staying in Time Square!! Beds were super comfy and clean, queen room was big enough for 4 girls to share, bathroom clean and large.

Location great, pleanty of dining places, bars, try Blazing Saddles across the road from hotel - so much fun and delish food. The hotel is in a great location to spot celebrities, because you are around the corner from hot nightclubs and famous restaurants. Although West Hollywood is a great spot with lots to do, you will need a car to get around to really see all of what LA has to offer. Or you could try the public transport which we found was kinda unreliable, one night we waited about 45 mins for a bus to Santa Monica, after beng told it came every 15 minutes. There was some shady characters on the bus too, but no dramas.

Overall, hotel was a 5 star experience at a fraction of the price!!
