I found a true gem in trinity county when I found the Weaverville Hotel. My daughter and I stayed in the bully choop while visiting my brother. I felt like I had stepped back in time, but with all the modern day conveniences. Our room was amazing. Everything you could possibly need or desire was there. Special surprises await you at bedtime :-).
Jeanne Muir and her husband, Brian get the stellar award for hospitality. Coupons for dining in town allowed us to try an array of food fare. The hotel was incredibly comfortable.
Make time to visit the hotel's emporium. You'll find outstanding worldly treats.
I would highly recommend the Weaverville Hotel and I will definely choose it again when I return.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- The hotel, originally built in 1861, was last rebuilt in 1880 after burning to the ground. We have painstakingly restored it to the original high ceilings and wood floors, attempting to recapture as much of the original charm as possible. ... more less
