“Perfect in every way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

We went here with a friend who lives locally and were not disappointed. Clearly it's a favourite for both food and ices. The service was also excellent and friendly. Portions are huge so sharing is the thing.

“Glad we made a detour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

On our drive from Napa to Santa Cruz we made a detour to Walnut Creek to visit this place having seen it on Man v Food. Having read about the portion sizes, we asked to shared a Three Little Piggies sandwich (ham, pulled pork, bacon, BBQ sauce - delicious!) and we created our own sundae. Service was great and the food everything we hoped it to be. Having shared three scoops of ice cream I really don't understand how people can eat the kitchen sink... especially in less than 8 minutes! Impressive!

“Great all round menu, not just the dessert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

We are a family of three with one teenage daughter and we came on the back of Man v Food on our way back to the airport to fly home, and what a treat we had. The menu is extensive and burgers are good. The ice creams are all you could wish for, and thankfully come in many sizes (not just the kitchen sink). Portion sizes are ample so be prepared to share if you're not overly hungry, because you must leave room for pudding (rude not to). Good friendly and fast service, though it wasn't busy when we came in.

Here's a thing, there aren't many pics on the wall of fame, but someone downed that kitchen sink challenge in under 8 minutes!

“Exactly as we expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

I'm not a dessert person, but the rest of the family are - so i was a little concerned i might miss out by not having on of their signature ice creams.

I'm pleased to say I did not miss out by having savouries alone. There is a great selection to choose from and the non ice cream items on the menu are not just there to fill it out.

We had a gourmet burger, Hot dogs, hot wings and chicken tenders which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Whilst i was happy with an appetizer and entrée, the rest of the family were raring to get at the Ice Creams. We knew that a Kitchen Sink would not be an option for one adult and 2 kids but was great to see one being made and then delivered to a young birthday party group.

We had 'standard' Ice Creams which were anything but. Inevitably, eyes were bigger than bellies, and a portion of each dessert was left.

A thumbs up from everyone for a great restaurant in a great location

“Best Burger Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

I know that this place is known for the ice cream and that was wonderful and lived up to our expectations. My son had the Candy Train, which he couldn't finish. We all LOVED our ice cream desserts. Definitely come for the ice cream and you won't be disappointed!! We watched several tables order the now famous "Kitchen Sink" (Find Kitchen sink on You Tube Man vs. Food) and enjoyed watching them tackle this ice cream challenge!

The real surprise was the burgers. Grass fed beef cooked to perfection. It was such a great burger that I considered skipping the ice cream and ordering another. Best tasting burger I've ever had!

Enjoy and of course, leave room for dessert!!
