I booked this hotel because it was rated relatively high on Trip Advisor, it's price, and location. I was very happy and surprised with my 1 day, Wednesday night stay. The staff is very friendly. On Wednesday nights they have a barbeque outside by the pool - that blows away anything the "competition" might have. There are complementary cookies and lemonaid during the day. They also have nice rooms. Their is a complementary breakfast. The breakfast is the only thing that could be better. The eggs were only offered with fatty cheese in the middle. It would be nice if they just offered scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs. It would also be nice if they offered a more healthy breakfast. Especially since the travelers today are not so thin/in shape. Overall a very nice experience and I will be back.

We had a small group of students from around the world for a horticultural therapy class held at the nearby Heather Farms Gardens.
Close to BART (Pleasant Hill station) for the airport transfer. A special reception for the night of arrival. Good breakfasts (Try the cinnamon roll!) and very pleasant patio area. There is a fun pub just up the street that features a rural pool hall and hangout.
Nice socializing hot tub area with a safe and enclosed courtyard garden.
We were able to network in the open lobby and public areas with ease.
The staff here treat the guest very well.
This is the Diablo Valley hotel in which to stay!

I needed a place to stay while in Walnut Creek to get my car fixed since I live over 3 hours away. My husband went with me and we played some golf as well. This hotel is very much like any other Holiday Inn Express. I'm not real sure where the bad reviews came from. I stayed at this hotel before the remodel and it feels much cleaner now. That's always a plus! Our room was on the large size for a standard king room. The food is the same as what you get from other Holiday Inn Express hotels.

I stayed at the Walnut Creek Holiday Inn Express with my boyfriend, who was there for business and I was there for leisure, and to explore San Francisco. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and well-kept up. The sleeping arrangement was very comfortable, and the free internet was really great during some lounging time in the morning. Also, it was nice to be able to walk to the BART (no more than 10 minutes) and to be able to be in the city in just 30 minutes of so. Overall, this was a great facility and much better priced than anything in the ciy! I would highly recommend this as an option for either business of leisure!
