“It is not your average Holiday Inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This HI location is slightly outside the town. However, it's offers easy access to the freeways. It is large conference center style hotel with various rooms durable for meetings, good restaurant, bar and pleasant crowd.
Rooms are average HI quality with exception for the executive option.
I would recommend this hotel in case Marriot is overbooked.

“12/20/12-12/23/12”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We stayed a few nights at this hotel because we had an all star football game for the kids. It was very nice and a convenient location. The mall and a lot of restaurants are just a few exits up. They were doing some work on the road near but the hotel had an indoor and outdoor pool which is always a plus with the kiddo's. It was clean and a little worn in the Bathroom area but comfortable.

Room Tip: Rooms probably towards the back may be a little quieter but I had no problem since I was with kids a...

“Great hotel, restaurant, and indoor pool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

We stayed one night here on our way back from South Lake Tahoe. This hotel is approx. 5.5 hours from Tahoe so it makes a good stopping point when traveling with kids.

We booked two adjoining rooms (rm. 133 a double queen, and 135 a king suite).

When we arrived, I was a bit concerned as there was quite a lot of noise from the singer/band at the bar and our rooms were on the same floor. When we got to the rooms however, it was completely quiet.

The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The wi-fi worked well, and the newer flat-panel TV's were nice.

We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and the restaurant staff was absolutely wonderful (especially Jose, our waiter for dinner). We arrived at the hotel at about 8:15, and the restaurant closes at 9:00, so we were the last ones in there. Jose made a special point to make sure that they didn't clear away the salad bar until we were done eating. Not many places would go that extra bit for you. It was very much appreciated.

The next day, the front desk graciously provided us with a later checkout so we could spend a little extra time enjoying their indoor pool and spa.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: We noticed that there were several rooms that face the indoor pool. These would probably get loud...

“Comfortable, Convenient and Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Easy freeway access, clean, a little worn, but it works. A real plus for business traveler: plenty of electrical outlets available on the top of the desk. VERY friendly and helpful front desk staff. Restaurant staff also very helpful--I met a client and worked at a table from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.

“Passing Through”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

We stayed one night at this hotel and it was very good. It is near the airport and that is about all that you can say about it, We were on a bus tour and didn't have independent transport. It may be possible to get to other facilities if you have a car.

We at the Holiday Inn are extremely happy that you were able to stay with us on your tour. Just a little area information for your next visit, we are directly located across from a large park and sports complex. The hotel is also in close proximity to a beautiful 27 hole public golf course. We hope the next time you are at our facility you can enjoy our indoor and outdoor pool facilities. We thank you for your stay and look forward to your next visit.
