My wife and I stayed here for one night in June of '08.
We got the age 50+ rate of $86+ and still kept it under
a hundred bucks total with tax.
To be honest I tried to find something wrong with the place
but Could Not. Nice staff, the room was fine, full flush toilets,
good shower comfy bed and
all the amenities you expect. Free Wireless High Speed with no
passwords or junk is always a plus to me. The Fitness center
was ample to get a good work out, I looked at the pool but
didn't go out there. The breakfast was what they call expanded continental which means you can make yourself a waffle, a bowl of fruit loops, gnaw on a pastry or eat a hard boiled egg.
No restaurants on site so you have to drive East about 3 miles
on CA-198E to find food. Lots of places there including a fairly new
La Quinta Inn that no one has reviewed yet. This Comfort Inn
and Suites is nice but I think the next trip we will try that
La Quinta Inn since it is surrounded by places to eat and
things to do.
Word of advice: Always check the clock radios in your rooms to
make sure the alarm is OFF. I've been burned twice now by
getting blasted out of a deep sleep because someone left
the alarm set to go off early. Thanks for your time.
