This is really one of Visalia downtown's gems. Everything is prepared on site and it's all delicious. Nice, casual atmosphere, friendly service and a good value.

The Lunch Box is a great place to meet a friend for lunch. Fun atmosphere and the food is good. It is a little on the pricey side for what you get. At noon there is lots of chatter going on but overall a fun place to go for a good sandwich or soup.
I've never written the words "chicken soup" in a review, but The Lunch Box has one that deserves a golden spoon. It has lots of flavor and lots of vegetables. It has a wonderful broth that is a bit spicy--just right for me. The Lunch Box showed their creativity even with the salads that came--the vegetables were wonderfully salty and sweet.
Great place. Will go again when I come back to the area.
