We live in San Francisco and were not familiar with Victorville and needed a place to stay that accepts small pets and we stumbled across The Hotel Extended Studio and boy are we glad. The people were extremely nice and the room was amazing.

It's an unassuming hotel among the larger chain hotels in the area (that don't accept pets) and you would never imagine how nice their rooms are from looking at the place from the outside. You can tell that they spent their money well - on their rooms rather than the common areas or pool. After all, I'm always happier if I get an amazing nights sleep in a beautiful and exceptionally clean room than laying by a nice pool.

The rooms are set up for longer stays, so even if you're staying for just 2 or 3 days, you feel like you're staying in a real apartment since they feature separate living areas, bedrooms and a full, working kitchen (plates, flatware, coffee pot, full sized fridge, dishwasher, etc.)!

The bathrooms are huge and the full bath tub was great to soak in and relax after a long day. There is a large hanging area for your clothing with lots of wood hangers. The bedding was crisp and super clean and soft. The high speed wireless worked like a charm and was FREE! I should stop as this is going to start to sound like an infomercial!

My only negatives:

There should be non-smoking floors. It seemed like our floor (while mostly non-smoking rooms were located) there occasionally was a hint of smoke smell.

I wish they had a chest of drawers for clothes that are not hung. But, not a huge deal.

Do yourself a favor pet lovers - this is THE place to stay if you find yourself in Victorville.
