Yep, it's a 'burger joint. And it's a diner. Local working folks eat here along with tourists traveling Historic Route 66. I stopped because of the history and the Sixty-Six connection and found pretty much what I expected. It was late morning and while I lunched on a tasty 'burger and fries, many around me were putting down bacon & eggs and other breakfast items. I may have been just a wee bit surprised at the fun that the owners and the rest of the staff were having. You hope for that in any independent business but you don't always find it.
