“Good food and fun, too.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Yep, it's a 'burger joint. And it's a diner. Local working folks eat here along with tourists traveling Historic Route 66. I stopped because of the history and the Sixty-Six connection and found pretty much what I expected. It was late morning and while I lunched on a tasty 'burger and fries, many around me were putting down bacon & eggs and other breakfast items. I may have been just a wee bit surprised at the fun that the owners and the rest of the staff were having. You hope for that in any independent business but you don't always find it.

“Hype-burger joint”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2012

Yes, it's on historic route 66, and yes truckers and local cement plant workers think it's Haute cuisine, and yes it was in fact in a 30 second scene in Kill Bill 2.....none of that make it worth puling off the road for. Bad, bland, boring, nothing to recommend it. Unless perhaps you have been buried alive and punched your way out of coffin with kung fu and need a glass of water.
