“Great time had for Multi-age group”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

Our 8year olds loved the kiddie and medium thrill rides, 11 year olds and up loved the roller coasters and high-thrill rides, and we all loved the animal shows, which are really outstanding. You could easily spend the whole day going to just the animal shows and feel like the day was worth it even without a single ride! The Holiday in the Park experience is fantastic, so plan for next year, as there are NO LINES, even for the biggest most popular rides, and the shows are fantastic, with positive themes, etc.

“FUN FOR THE FAMILY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Very nice park, friendly staff. Enough to see and do for the entire family. A lot of games, a lot of thrill rides and a lot of kiddie rides too.

“Didn't Even Go!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

We had intended to go to this attraction, it was in fact our main reason for staying in Fairfield during a 2-week vacation in California. The reviews before we went seemed good however the devil is in the details with this place!

We went to the website to buy tickets and discovered that the base ticket price, which was ridiculously high, did not actually include most of the stuff in the park, including parking in the park which was absurdly high! A quick calculation of attending this facility (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 vehicle) would have ended up costing well over $400, and to make matters worse there was a little disclaimer indicating that various rides could be shut down. Indeed we discovered by reading online reviews that 2 of the main attractions were not in operation the majority of the time and there was no indication of if/when they would be.

We did not end up going as we were not willing to risk the huge expense for what all indications were would be a mediocre adventure at best. Driving by the place almost daily it seemed to us to be all hype, not much substance, and then when we discovered the prices, forget it we were out.

We had been wondering why there was not much discussion of this place in the area, and when we would drive by there were not many cars in the parking lot. Upon inquiring of a few sets of locals, we soon heard that this is not what it is hyped to be ... all we've ever heard about is Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags ... not sure if this particular location is an anomaly for the franchise or what, but we do know there are far more interesting things to experience in this area that won't cause one to feel like they are a tourist dollar being bent over a table.

“Fun time for the whole family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

It was a fun family trip. The lines for the rides were very short! The employees were very friendly. The park was very clean. Security was evident. A very nice family place to be. The Christman lights were grand. The food was too expensive. We picniced in the parking lot. They have a few tables out there, but need to add more for those of us who cannot afford to buy food in the park. Would love to see some more roller coasters for those of us who do not like to go upside down.

“Great fun, great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

So, the lines take forever here...much longer than at disneyland but, it is still a great deal. The animals and the shows are fantastic and they have good rides. The season pass is the only way to go otherwise, don't bother...costs too much...at the end of each year, you pay full price for 1 day and get a season pass...if you buy 4, you all get free parking....and parking is $18 so, best way to make it a good deal.
