We should known what to expect when we ordered queso as an appetizer and were told they didn't serve queso. A Mexican food restaurant that doesn't serve queso? Never heard of one! Our waiter was waiting tables by himself the first night, drinks were constantly empty, I asked for sweetener for my ice tea and never received it. I ordered two cheese enchiladas and one sour cream enchilada with rice and black beans. I got two cheese enchiladas and a bowl of sour cream. The black beans had alcohol, maybe beer, I'm not sure, in them. Very strong! Others at the table had two tacos each. The meat in the tacos had very little meat and heavy on the chilis, peppers and onions, no cheese and salad mix for the lettuce. Purple cabbage in a taco? We had to ask twice for tortillas for a party at our table who ordered fajitas. I think the biggest shock of the night was the $1.29 x 3 charges for my bowl of sour cream (that was supposed to be a sour cream enchilada) two bowls of grated cheese for the tacos that were served without cheese. We came out of Chevy's and found the nearest Burger King so the taco dinner folks could at least have something to eat for dinner. We've had better Mexican food at Taco Bell. Pass Chevy's by.
