It was a showery January Sunday evening when we arrived in Upper Lake, to find a double rainbow arched over the town and our accomodations, the Tallman Inn.
You don't want to pass the Tallman up for a romantic off season weekend away. We took them up on the Lover's package with the geyser tub, Room 11. First, you find your bed covered with silk rose peddles (and some real rose peddles in the gift basket), Lady of the Lake champagne chilled, chocolate truffles and lot's of privacy. All for a meager $200 for the nite. We will remember this forever.
The Tallman is tucked in Upper Lake, Clear Lake, and has been renovated with class and style. It's location is in the main town but with nice private accomodations. The Blue Wing restaurant loacated in the complex serves really good food to. The morning continental breakfast is served in a quant dinning room located in the main lobby. I picked up the breakfast and we dined in our room.
I have stayed in many BnBs and small hotels and the Tallman is one of the best values and class acts I have experienced.
