Took the kids, a 10 year old boy and a 13 year old girl. They had never done it before. They training class was informative enough, and easy enough for the 10 year old to get. They ended up having a great time. This is expensive but a definate winner for the kids, They have a wind speed indicator for the tunnel, while the kids were in the tunnel they had the wind from 92 to 137 miles a hour (another guy outside the tunnel watches the instructors hand signals inside). I had so much fun just watching them in the tunnel (yep, you can watch right through the plexiglass). We did this about 2 weeks ago, and we will go back at least one more time (since they get it a little more now). If you go, the first package you should get is the "spread our wings" package. The "earn your wings" package gives you two "flights" in the tunnel, the spread your wings gives you double the time during those 2 flights.
Don't bring a bunch of stuff, you have to empty your pockets (even though they give you a flight suit). They will even tape the rings to your hand if you say you can't get them off. If you have seperated your shoulder before they suggest you don't do it (do to the positioning of your arms when you parachute). Dang, I sure wanted to but I have 3 dislocations between my 2 shoulders. While we were they we had people from 10 to 65 in the tunnel. Guess what, younger kids faces do not distort from the wind as much as older people. Tons of fun!
