“Best breakfast in Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2008

I've been staying at several hotels in Ukiah, and I think Comfort Inn by far is the best hotel in the area. And it is why I chose to stay at this hotel for the past 4 months. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff are very nice and helpful, especially Hector and Tori. The best part of this hotel is the breakfast, hosted by Martha. Not only does she always make the place cheerful and people feel at home, she is also willing and happy to make special eggs for you, besides the plenty of hot food she's already making on the table. She's a good cook and her food is fresh and great to the taste. I like vegetables and cheese in my eggs with no garlic and onions, so she would make that for me everyday in different ways. She also bakes a home-made cake every morning and get it ready by 6am so people, like me, who have to leave early can have a "cake in a cup to-go." Everyone enjoys Martha's company and in those days when she's off work, the place becomes too quiet that some people would look disappointed not seeing her around. I will definitely stay at Comfort Inn again whenever I'm in Ukiah for work or pleasure. The Marriott and Hampton Inn are nearby but their prices are higher and the service/breakfast is not as good. The only thing I wish the Comfort Inn would have is the exercise room. It'd be nice in those days when you have to do your workout inside. The manager said he will think about doing it in the near future.... Other than that, this hotel is a great place to stay.

Great place to stay. Room was well appointed and clean. Comfort Inn's have kind of been hit and miss in the past. This was by far the best. The breakfast was fantastic with even homemade treats made by Martha. She was very kind and made our stay perfect.

We stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites after visiting San Francisco for Spring Break and returning to our home in Northern Oregon. We pulled off the freeway and seen Comfort along with a couple other neighboring hotels. We checked in at front desk and the price was right. We were pleasantly satisfied with the room and the hotel ammenities. We had a fun filled long day and was tired and ready to relax. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. We awoke in the morning and smelled the aroma of wonderful breakfast items. We went downstairs and was very surprised at the large selection of items on their hot breakfast bar. The cook/hostess "Martha" greeted us as we entered the breakfast area and came right up with hot bisuits out of the oven asking us if we wanted a "nice hot biscuit". She explained what the selections were, asked if we had any requests, that she could cook eggs anyway we would like. She was extemely friendly, welcoming, and accomodating. Another gentlemen in the lobby asked for scrambled eggs with garlic. Martha went right into the kitchen and whipped up what the gentleman asked for. We seen her address several other guests by their first name and make it to each table to say a friendly "good morning". We have stayed at several hotels on our way to San Fran and now on our way back. By far, bar none, this is the best stay we have had. Unfortunately because of the time we arrived we were not able to swim in the pool, but because of the beautiful, clean rooms and the above friendly service we will tell many that this is the place to stay in Ukiah, and would definately return any time we are in this area. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Thank you Martha!

This Comfort Inn blew us away! What gorgeous amenities and finishes! Never have we seen white paneled doors even with doorstops to help us as we move our luggage in and out! Whoever designed and planned this hotel had every detail nailed down.

The room was gorgeous, decked out with the finest of furniture and fixtures, lovely archways and tastefully decorated. We hated to leave!

Last but not least, breakfast was amazing. Not only was the selection unbelievable but the hostess (Martha) was cheerful, helpful, friendly, and could not have been more accomodating! She made us feel right at home, offered to prepare our eggs any way we wanted...even with mushrooms, peppers, onions....literally....have it "our way"......

Thank you so much for a great stay and everytime we come to Ukiah, The Comfort Inn is our first and only choice! We stay 3-4 nights a week in hotels in Washington and California since we travel for work. You have made our favorites list!
