“Very convenient location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2010

I stay at BW Tulare everytime I come here for business. The room is clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is great. It is close to hwy 99. You can find all kind of restaurants around in the area.

We routinely stay at this Best Western when attending race events in Tulare. The hotel is neat and clean including the guest rooms. The room rates include an extensive breakfast with hot food. We highly recommend this hotel to couples, families and solo travelers.

I stay here all the time whenever I'm in the area for work. Never a problem finding parking for my truck, love the bar, pool and jacuzzi area is kinda small but it's nice and there's a gazebo where you can barbeque. The hotel is close to the freeway and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

I spent three nights here on a business trip with co-workers, each of us had our own room and experiences were the same. Like the title says, the "4 C's" were all there. Like all Best Westerns, this hotel had FREE High Speed Internet access; had an extra ethernet cable at the front desk. Very close to freeway access.

Did I mention the Internet access was FREE? I've stayed at hotels that cost over $250 a night, and internet access was an extra $19.95 per day.

Our spacious rooms had microwave, fridge, under-the-window type air conditioner that worked well, 'old-fashioned' CRT-type TV's, decent BR toiletries, plush and newer towels and linens, no bad odors, and quiet hallways during the night. The AM breakfast was good and diverse, including vegan and diet options. Bed comfort was 'good' but not excellent - I reserve that rating for the high end Mariotts & Westins.

One collegue of ours couldn't get a room here, and had to stay next door at the Comfort Inn. He paid similar price - and after visiting us, seeing our rooms, and the AM buffet, he said he wished he had booked at this Best Western instead.

Very friendly bartender in the lounge. Was serving 'Cowboy Margaritas' - (make a regular margarita, then add a splash of Jack Daniels).

Really liked my quick stay here at the Best Western Town and Country Lodge. The staff was extremely attentive, particularly at the front desk and during the breakfast. The rooms were very clean. I got a GREAT night's sleep because it was so quiet--and I had colleagues staying at the Comfort Inn (not clean!) and the La Quinta (not quiet!) so I feel like I got the best accommodations--and it was a lot better value than the Quality Inn when I was making my reservation.

It was also nice to get a good, hearty cooked-to-order breakfast. I would come back.

We always stay at Best Western Town & Country Lodge when traveling to Tulare and the surrounding area. The hotel is conveniently located off Hwy 99 and there are several shopping and eating establishments in the area and a great Outlet Mall. The hotel is pleasant, quiet and the staff are always eager to assist and answer any questions you might have. They show a sincere interest in the quality of your stay.

This hotel is located one block West of Hwy. 99 in central Tulare. There are several fast food and full service restaurants within blocks and are easy to access. There is no lush garden and the view is more industrial, but the hotel is clean and the service is outstanding. A full hot breakfast is included, and a staff attendant is always there to keep the food supply filled and tables clean. The buffet (located in the bar dining area) includes make-your-own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit salad and whole fresh fruit, cold and hot cereals; toast, pastries, muffins; apple and orange juices, whole and 2% milk, regular and decaf. coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea; I'm sure I've missed a few items. It's all you can eat, as well.

My only complaints would be the coffee machine is on top of the microwave/refrigerator cart and difficult for shorter people to reach to pour water into the reservoir; and it's plugged into an extension cord in back that's hanging two feet off the floor. The A/C-heater unit does not have a deflector, so the air only blows up inside the curtains instead of into the room. There is no TV guide, either a paper copy in the room or one on the television screen menu.

The beds are exceptionally comfortable, as well as the pillows (4 pillows per queen bed). Non-smoking rooms have no smoke residue or burn marks; they truly smell clean.

The hotel is located near two outlet malls and an antique mall. There are many amenities as well. More information can be read on the Best Western website.
