Stayed in this hotel for a business trip in July 2014.
The room was updated and updated with the latest business or high tech casual traveler.
The desk has a great adjustable chair and probably the best amenity is 5 extra 115 plugs AND had USB ports on the TOP of the desk! No rooting around behind the TV or something to find a spare outlet to charge the phone, the pad and a laptop.
Of note is the modern dark and matching (!) furniture, slick lamps, beautiful Large Flat screen TV and designer accents. Very nice. My room had the microwave, small frig and in room coffee machine. Great!
Bathroom had granite tops in the vanity area and modern, clean faucets and fixtures.
Bed had extra pillows and crisp linens. Very nice.
Breakfast room is very nice with the normal free breakfast travel amenities. 3 styles of coffee, juices, cereals, fruit, yogurt, cook to order waffles and sausage and eggs. All a bit higher level than most "value" motels.
The staff was very nice, efficient and pleasant. Just as it should be.
Ask for your AAA or AARP discount but be prepared to show your card!
I prefer the first floor on this 2 story property because for me, I prefer not to have to use the stairs.
SInce this is fairly close to Hwy 99, I ask for a room on the backside of the building to buffer the freeway noise. The windows are very good, I just prefer the back rooms.
WiFi is free and this place has quite a few wifi hotspots. This is great because you can choose the one that's the strongest and get online.
This is my go to motel when I travel in Tulare. It also has LOTS of food options close by. If you need to shop, The outlet mall is 1/2 mile away.
I did not use the pool or the workout room but I did want to mention them.
This is a NO SMOKING motel so if you need to, you got to go outside.
This is not a spa or resort style hotel.
What it is, is a way above average travel motel.
I WILL stay again.
