“Filthy bedding and big spot on the sofa”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

I chose this hotel because it was smoke free and relatively close to Sequoia NP. We got to the hotel after 10 pm and too tired to fuss about anything but there were stains on both bedspreads (ugh) as well as a stain on the sofa that looked like it was made by a very wet diaper. I cannot understand how they could advertise "all new rooms" when obviously ours was not updated. On the plus side, the room is spacious and there is a fridge & microwave. And it was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our 10 day visit to California.

Room Tip: Just don't stay in the hotel unless you are very sure your room has been completely updated.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to let us know of your situation. Guest satisfaction is our top priority, and we appreciate it when our guests make the effort to bring to our attention items that need to be corrected. We are currently finishing our remodel with new bedding for our entire hotel to address these problems. We just renovated are bathrooms, and rooms with new sinks, Carpet, Furniture, Televisions, Paint, and are now changing our bedding to NEW Triple sheeting for a more modern and clean look. The hotel is in the final stages of the remodel and we will address all the these issues.

We got the last 2 rooms available which were the jacuzzi suites. The room is huge and the bathroom is niced size. The jacuzzi backs up to the bathroom but is open to the room. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and all was quiet. The breakfast area is pretty small though. Typical continental breakfast. It's within walking distance to Apple Annie's for dinner (awesome!!) so that was nice. We'd stay here again if passing through.

We chose this hotel to stay for a night while going to National Parks. The room was big and had a sofa. Its clean, comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast was very good. Would stay here again.

We stayed here with a group over Memorial Day, since Visalia was booked. Breakfast starts a 6 a.m. every morning in a very small room with only 5 tables. But we all knew each other, so no problem and we headed out early every morning for hiking in the parks.

Kevin teh manager is way cool. after giving me an upstairs room, and finding I can't do stairs, he gave me a spa room downstairs for no extra cost. when my 1978 Suzuki needed a new wbattery the next day, he handled the phone calls for me, lent me tools without asking, and amde sure I was ok to go. I would recommend this place to anyone-a rare place where the manager actually cares. riders please take advantage of his hospitality. good rate, great service, and also gave me great directions to the Suzuki store. couldn't ask for more. will deefinitely return.

We reallly enjoyed this place en route to Yosemite NP. It was clean. We had a king bed and the room was quite spacious and nicely appointed. Fridge and micro in the room was great. Staff was friendly. We had a second floor room, but no elevator made the schlep of the luggage up the stairs kind of a pain. Otherwise, pleasant place. Breakfast was the standard fare.

Room Tip: Ask for a first floor room if you have a lot of luggage to carry in.
