Almost as soon as we pulled up to the curb in front of the inn Jason, the Innkeeper, stepped out to offer help with our luggage. Ahhh, we felt supported and embraced after a long day of driving.
Soft, home-baked chocolate chip cookies greeted us as we walked into the house.
Jason is a gentle soul. His demeanor is affable and sweet. It was a pleasure to be in his presence. He provided a wonderful breakfast for us.
Everything was neat and tidy in the main entry and dining area.
What we especially appreciated about The Redwoods Room:
That bed delivered one of the best night sleeps on our 11 day excursion!
We had a nice sized bathroom. Even though it has a small pedestal sink- a nice sized console is also provided with a near-by electrical outlet to meet all your needs.
Appreciated all the mirrors in the bedroom area and surfaces and exposed electrical outlets which allow ease of "charging-up", plugging in and getting ready:-)
Enjoyed having a sturdy, comfortable set of table and chairs at the window to sit at and play cards.
There are enough lamps to support reading, etc.
A few books -coffee table style, are provided in the room for your enjoyment. (Hey, Jason, that's the only area I saw a wee bit of dust around;-)
The closet is large and included extra blankets and pillows.
The view from Redwoods is wonderful from all perspectives---not just towards the ocean but overlooking the tidy back yard from the bathroom, as well.
We left our windows ajar during the night and enjoyed hearing the buoy-bells as we drifted off to a deep and peaceful sleep.
The Inn Owner, Mike, was around a bit in the morning. AS we expressed apology for not checking out real soon as we were to meet up with a dear friend for a walk on the beach- Mike reassured us that we had nothing to be concerned over as we had until 1:00. That was a real relief.
We loved our stay here and would highly recommend this B and B to another. The location is dynamite with perfect ocean views and easy access to walking the pier, the beach and the many trails. Hope tp visit again one day. Thanks, Jason!
Go for the Redwoods. No one is above you, the bathroom is good sized and has a lot of natural light...
