“Great stay at Howard Johnson Torrance.”

Front desk people were very good and helpfull. I got 2nd floor corner room 226 with a microwave and a small refrigerator. Breakfast was good but not many choices. Room was clean and they claen the room daily. Room heater was not working and I asked them to fix it and they fixed it next day. They gave us extra blankets as it was cold that night. I stayed with my family from Dec,29 to Dec 31st and checked out on Jan 1st. I have no complain. Overwall people were very friendly.Great location, free parking and it was worth staying there. We'll stay there again in future.

Room Tip: I suggest to select 2nd and 3rd floor.

“HORRIBLE hotel!”

Where do I start? The hotel is run-down & not well-maintained. Lousy maid service. Room wasn't clean (edges, details). They put us next to a laundry room & did laundry past 11 PM! Room had ratty carpets & drapes that wouldn't close. Dry rot spot on the breezeway that we sank into many times. Had WiFi login problems. Room has paper-thin walls. The shower water temp fluctuated from who-knows-what. Ian (evening front desk) is awesome and frankly, the ONLY thing about this dump that shined, but the girl there in the mornings is a b**ch! I wouldn't recommend this dive to my worst enemy!

Room Tip: Pick a different hotel!
