This seemed like a great place to go for a valentines dinner. I called ahead and spoke to someone in person, where I requested a private booth, a dozen roses on the table, and told them we could not have shell fish as my husband is allergic to them.
We got there and they made us wait, then sat us at the bar, of course with no roses. I complained about the table, so we had to wait again. They sat us at that table that is where the employees enter and exit the kitchen. No roses.
My husband and I waited 28 minutes without before being welcomed or offered a drink. I was going to leave at 30 minutes so my husband called the manager over at that point.
The manager started to take our order for drinks when the server finally showed up. Ironically, he thought we would need time to decide what we would want for dinner--it was a set menu and we had been staring at it for 30 minutes!
Of course, the bar was backed up so we got our food before our drinks. And after telling the server NO SHELLFISH, he brings the food with shellfish.
The manager had the nerve to come to our table and ask if everything was great. So I told him how our night had gone. He said he would comp our drinks and offered more, so my husband got one more.
We got the bill and our drinks had not been comped! So the manager fixed it, brought the card and bill for us to sign, but forgot to run it!
So he had to go back and run our credit card again. Then as he tried to do this the internet system was down and we had to wait so that we could pay.
When we got back home, there was a message on our answering machine saying they actually charged us twice!
It was a nightmare.
