We ate here during our stay at the Sea Ranch Lodge for my 30th birthday. Dinner was decent. My boyfriend had the tri-tip medallions, which were cooked perfectly. I had the halibut. It was just ok, but not delicious. The tomatoes that came with it were nearly flavorless, which was a disappointment considering the restaurant apparently uses fresh, organic produce grown locally. The food wasn't perfect, but if you're staying at the hotel, the view is great and you don't have to leave the property.
Breakfast the next day was less enjoyable. As I mentioned in my review of the lodge, my boyfriend's eggs benedict was very good, but my corned beef hash was not cooked properly. I picked at it, but it was not good. Our server never really checked to see how our food was, so instead of tracking her down and sending it back, I just ate the eggs and toast. Breakfast was a very different experience from dinner. Maybe the quality lacks because it is included in the room price, but I still feel like I am paying for it and it should be better. I wouldn't let this deter me from staying here again, I would just have lower expectations for the food.
