After finding most places were booked, when arriving a couple of days early for a Monday business meeting, I found through a phone call that the Rodeway Inn had available rooms. Great! Better yet, it is right in old town where there were all of the shops and restaurants that I wanted to visit. I knew there was a problem as soon as a walked into the 'office' to check in. I knew right then by the run down condition of the 'office' this was not going to be a pleasant experience. Considering so many other places were all ready booked, I felt that I did not have much choice.
I have never paid so much for such a poor, dilapidated hotel or motel. The room was small and cramped, it appeared (thankfully) relatively clean, but who could tell because it was dark due to burnt out light bulbs and a tiny window looking out onto the side of another building! The table where I am currently sitting and writing this review, rocks back and forth and feels like it is going to fall over. The water 'trickles' out of the shower head. The sink faucet practically requires two hands to 'pull' it on. There are only 9 channels available on the TV and 4 of them are not viewable. There is more, but I won't bore you with any more details.
All of this for only $128.50 Wow what a deal !.......... NOT!!!!!!
