Loved the baked goods. Very European not too sweet. Great bagels and strudel. Stopped there twice a day :)

“A good bakery spot and great coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

First of all the coffee is amazing. Each cup is fresh brewed while you wait and there is a wonderful foam on top. Lots of pastries to choose from. I had a pumpkin cranberry scone, and my husband had a large cranberry muffin. Both were very good. There is inside and outside seating. They also had a lot of items to go but we just had the pastries. It is just off the highway and doesn't have a view but very worth stopping for a cup of Joe and some baked goods. Oh and I bought a loaf of their multi-grain round bread so good too.

“Came here four mornings in a row...enough said”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Tahoe House was close to our cabin, and we tried this place for morning Mochas/Lattes our first morning of a four-night Labor Day weekend stay. It was so good, we didn't bother trying anywhere else. It became our morning routine. It opens at 6 am and the parking lot stays busy...even at 7 am on a Sunday. There always seems to be someone pulling out, so have patience to wait for a spot to park.

The service is efficient (might be construed as impersonal, but the line keeps moving and it is so good, you somehow don't mind)! Bagels are light and tasty--love being able to toast your own. Blueberry/Cranberry muffin perhaps the best I've ever had. Great value. We sat at the same table every morning. Took advantage of the WiFi. Love this place!

(For iced drinks, it is nearly impossible to get the straw through the lid hole....maybe they need to find a new product/vendor for lids!!!)
