Love the views and the bloody mary! If you can find a seat, the patio is the best place to hang out on a nice spring day and enjoy the view of Tahoe!

After finding out out the restaruant we wanted to dine at was closed for repair we called in the late afternoon for reservations and they got us in. Facing stunning Lake Tahoe the view is so beautiful it felt like we were in a movie. The staff is both fun and attentive. The food was amazing. We each had fish and both dishes were delicious. If you are in the Tahoe area don't miss having lunch or dinner here.

The settiing is amazing, but the food was terrible.
My salad was fairly good, but all five of our dinners were pretty bad. One piece of fish was rotten, the pasta was way too salty and even my daughter's grilled cheese was bad.
The service was good, but it certainly can't make up for the food. We all left there hungry, not wanting to risk ordering dessert.

I've been going to Sunnyside for many, many years. After this time, I doubt if we go back. The food was awful. My fish was dry and flavorless. My brother-in-law sent his fish back and was so turned off by the horrible piece of fish he was served, he didn't order another dish. My niece took 2 bites of her (child's menu) grilled cheese sandwich and proclaimed, "Grandma makes better grilled cheese."
Out of the 5 of us, I don't think any of us ate more than 5 bites of our meals.
