We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening in prime time so we were not surprised to have to wait 25 minutes. The wait was well worth it but next time I would make a reservation. My son and his wife had been there before when he first moved to the area and he said it was known as the best restaurant in Sunnyvale. I have only been to a couple of others, but this is certainly one of my 6 (if allowed) star places to visit.
I love lamb and these people know how to cook it!
I wanted to order a kebab but could not decide which one. I ordered the "Mo, the King of Kebabs" @ $21.95 and it gave me a good portion of Shish Taouk, Kufta Kebab, with my choice of Shish Kebab or Tika Kebab (I chose the Shish Kebab) served with seasoned grilled vegetables and rice. When I get back to Sunnyvale, we WILL visit this restaurant again.
The service was perfect; attentive enough to our needs without pestering us.
Parking Tip: Parking is not plentiful in the street. We parked just south of the restaurant in the Target parking and it was only a short walk to the restaurant (visiting Target afterwards is also a treat - unique escalators that take shopping carts up and down).
Their web site advertises their fare as being Middle Eastern. I would have said it was more specifically Turkish.
We visited in winter and it was too cold to sit outside but they do have a few tables on the sidewalk.
