“Authentic Italian Food and Ambience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

If you like good solid Italian food with a simple menu wonderful flavors you need to go to Pane e Vino, the owners Heidi and Franco do most of the work and do a great job.

I have eaten there many times for lunch and dinner with friends and family and have always been pleased. Franco is from Italy and if you have ever traveled there and eaten you will appreciate his authentic approach.

Not only do they have excellent dishes they have some wonderful pizzas, our favorite is the potato and sausage with rosemary, it is incredibly good perhaps the best pizza I have ever had.

The Ambience is also nice they are near the train station and have a nice patio area that can be used for lunch. The are hidden away behind a bait shop, but it is a beautiful secluded location.

“Authentic Italian pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2012

This restaurant offers casual Italian dining right at the water of Suisun City, next to the train station. We ordered pizza, which was 16", for the two of us. The chef is from Italy, and he makes a true Neapolitan style thin crust; he even imports specialty flour from Italy. The wife of the chef was our server and she was very efficient and eager to keep us happy. The pizza was delicious and so generous, we took 1/3 of it back to our hotel room and enjoyed it the next day. It was about $18 for authentic sauce & a couple of toppings. There is a selection of other Italian choices, which I feel confident would be prepared with the same care as our pizza! Definitely worth a visit!

“Outstanding home cooked food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

We were delighted with our dinner. Everything is prepared fresh. I would have gone back a second time if I could have. It is a bit difficult to find. But, it is well worth it once you start eating.
