This hotel is a travelers dream!! The room was Gorgeous, the Bar inviting, and the Restaurant's food was Grub!! And even better than those great qualities were the people working them. They were Warm, Funny, and 100% on their Game. A Special Thanks to the Shuttle driver, Mike who got us to our Event (@Bob Hope Theater) in plenty of time and stayed late so we could get back to the hotel safely (and we really needed the help).

Many Thanks to the Great People at University Plaza Waterfront Hotel

I'm back at work today after spending the weekend at this hotel. I enjoyed myself to the fullest! I loved EVERYTHING about it. The rooms, decor, lots of seating out on the lawn, the food, staff, and the pool area are just fabulous!! Its PRIME location is awesome, and you can easily forget that you are less than an hour from Sacramento. I will definitely share this beautiful property with friends, family and business colleagues. Oh, and the free guest parking and shuttle service! BIG + + + :0) Pick up the phone and book your reservation! This is definitely a hot spot for any type of event.

Room Tip: I stayed in one of the corner suites. The view from this room is just incredible! You just have to...

We stayed here last weekend and were in awe of the hotel! The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, and the furniture and decor are beautiful! They feel like more like accommodations at a resort than a hotel, and the management has paid attention to every detail. The courtyard area is gorgeous and the patio furniture is so amazing that we wanted to take it home! Their Sunday morning brunch is awesome, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay a great experience. Although the hotel is located in downtown Stockton (convenient to the Arena, Bob Hope Theater etc.) it is a wonderful hidden oasis and we will definitely be returning!

Great service & food. Thank you Richard, Charles & staff. Right on the water frount. Very personable. All around very clean. Large recreational area. Contemporary, resort like feel, great imbeance. Though I do with that they had a spa on location. Great prim rib specials on Thursday. The rooms have a great bathtub and very comfortable beds. A added plus is free Starbucks coffe by the lobby.

I can't say enough about the staff here. They were so friendly and helpful. Myia and Renee at the front desk were so helpful at check-in and also with recommendations with activities in the surrounding area. They were also very attentive to all of our needs and requests.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable especially the rooms that overlook the courtyard. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the king deluxe if they have availability, much more space and well worth it. The in hotel restaurant has great food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (seriously all you can eat prime rib for 20 bucks!) great wait staff. Oh and the bar!!!! Thank you Chris and Kevin for keeping our glasses full and your awesome and friendly service. You both made our stay here a great one!! Looking forward to returning for another stay this upcoming hockey season.
And don't let me forget to also mention the pool, jacuzzi and outdoor activities such as shooting pool or playing ping pong!! And plenty of areas to lay out and do some R&R.
Sincerely the honeymoon couple...lol :)

I recently spent four nights at the University Plaza Waterfront Hotel. I don't think I have ever stayed at a hotel with a more friendly and helpful staff; everyone was pleasant and helpful. I wanted to have something to eat on a Sunday night, when the restaurant is closed, and staff offered to talk to the chef about what could be made. A simple and satisfactory menu was presented. Rooms are comfortable and in good condition.

I would definitely stay here again.
