“Always good and staff very accommodating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

Our girls softball team often stays in Stockton for softball games. We almost always (unless the timing is bad) go to Arroyo's. Even when really busy, they find a way to accommodate our large group. Getting separate checks for each family is not a problem either. The food hasn't disappointed yet. I like the chicken enchiladas suiza with rice and beans. At $8.25 for dinner, it's not a bad deal. Reasonably priced - good food - nice staff!

“Pretty view of Quail Lake”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2011

Nice friendly lunchtime service in a family atmosphere place. I probably ordered badly, and the food was pretty average. The highlight was the view - had a seat at a nice booth table overlooking the water of Quail Lake.

“Stockton Surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2010

What a nice surprise to find a "non-chain" restaurant situated alongside a small and pretty man-made lake in Stockton. In addition to friendly staff and a pleasant location, the food is really good! Try the enchilada Suisa or chicken tamale (in the same green tomatillo sauce.)
Worth a stop if you are driving through town on Hwy 5.

“Never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2009

I used to go as a kid when it was downtown, it was great food, almost real home-cooking. Now, the place is relocated to a nice area, but the food is horrible. I came back to town to celebrate my 50th Birthday there with friends and family, on a Saturday night about 7:00 pm. There was no Mexican music, only canned english radio music from the 80's, the sauces on the food tasted like it was pure tomatoe paste with no flavor. What happened to you guys. I have been telling everyone about it lately. I will never go back there again.
