“Great Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

Attached to our hotel, the La Quinta. Clean, inviting great staff and good service. Lots of choices for any meal, morning, lunch or dinner.

“Wonderful service combined with a delicious meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Their senior's menu is excellent. We had a choice that evening and chose Carrows because it was new to us. Certainly did not disappoint us.

“I wasn't thrilled to the marrow by this particular Carrow's”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

Our Road Map Collectors Convention group was staying at the nearby La Quinta so we selected dinner here because it was conveniently close. However when we showed up at 5pm on Saturday evening at the door, a sign said it opens at 6! Odd hours? The group split up, some going to the Spaghetti Factory and our squad came back to Carrow's in an hour.

Turns out the decor was 80s dated and getting shabby. It needed a good cleaning. The service was mediocre and the food hardly better. Carrows's may be a step up from a Denny's but not for our dinner on this occasion. Prices were a bit high for what you got. The salmon was dry and the rice actually tasted more like a burnt skillet than a side dish. The desserts were suitable and tasty, however. It was not crowded, even by 7:30 when we left.

Access off Interstate 5 and westbound March Ln was very poorly designed and even a bit dangerous. Pedestrian walkways were minimal or lacking. Other than the motel's walk-over convenience, this place did not impress or thrill me, appetite-wise or 'to the bone marrow'. I don't believe I will ever struggle back to Carrow's here.
