Stayed here recently for 2 days, the rooms was nice, internet was great, and location was good too..Staff was excellent at getting stuff done, as well as check in and out.
maintenance man decided to do work on the wall outside of my room, at 7:30pm, he was using a hammer, drill, dropping tools loudly on the floor, and also using a power saw too. when i looked out the door to see what was going on, he asked if he was too loud, and when i said yes, he proceeded to say "oh, ill be done in an hour or so" and nothing else.luckily the front desk person was able to get the man out of the building and taken care of.
another problem was across the hall from my room, their kids were running up and down the halls screaming, then the mom came out in the hall and screamed at them to shut the f**k up and to get the f**k back in room, and she kept having to do this over and over, and again the front desk had to get involved..
the final problem was in the next room over from me, a man was having other men coming in and out of his room every half an hour to an hour, slamming the door, all night long until 5am, he kept slamming the headboard into my head, one time almost busting the headboard off the wall onto me, then i heard screaming and other sounds that were not something that should be heard by other guests or even kids for that matter.
all in all, the rooms are nice, the people in the hotel are not very trustworthy, and i would NOT stay on the first floor because the screens in some of the rooms are busted inwards, i told them to put me on another floor and was put onto the 3rd floor.. whew!
if i could i would give this hotel half a star.
check into a hotel that is not this one.. there are better hotels in Stockton i am sure.. the price...

It is my pleasure to provide an explanation regarding the issue you described. Every part of our hotel, from the in-room features, to the design of our guest corridors, to the personalized voicemail, is an integral part to creating a "home away from home" experience for our guests. Since we recognize that a quiet, relaxing environment is critical to this goal, we have several systems to ensure that noise from within or outside the hotel doesn't interfere with your stay. Although rare, there are instances where a guest may hear noises from the surrounding area. Whenever we are informed of such disturbances, our standard operating procedure is to promptly identify the source of that disturbance and resolve it. I take full responsibility that we were unable to resolve this situation to your satisfaction during your stay.
It's not common that we get the sort of feedback you provided, and although it is discouraging to read, it will help us make our hotel even better in the future. Let me apologize again that your stay was not completely satisfying, and assure you that we will continue to listen to our guests in forums like this one or directly (please visit our website and click the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page). I hope we have addressed your concern satisfactorily, and that you would give us the pleasure of having you as a guest again at this hotel or any other brand locations in the future.
