Stayed in 1, introduced as the nicest accommodation and good for 4 people. Nice and clean, wel maintained but a mottled carpet would be good - the plain blue shows every speck of dirt walked into the unit.
Wouldn't like to stay with 4, there's not really enough space. We didn't try it but looking at the layout opening the sofa bed would seem to leave very little room to open the external door, get into the bathroom or out of the bedroom. As a sofa the sofa bed is hard, low and the seat angled down at the back, on the positive side the hard flat armrests are great for setting down a cup of coffee. Eating requires unfolding a nifty table and chairs (there are only 2 chairs) easy enough but not ideal.
Bathroom was probably the best bit, nice. Kitchen fairly well equipped and the sink is indeed large. Bedroom is spartan with a soft and bouncy bed, I liked the picture over the bed but would benefit from adornments elsewhere in the room.
Stinson Beach is smaller and quieter than our guidebook suggested. Liked the beach and the body boarding but be careful - saw two people caught in a rip, one not a good swimmer and had to be rescued. Scary how quickly the poor swimmer was swept out and along the beach.
In all felt a bit basic and as I lie in a huge room with complimentary hot breakfast, wi-fi, 2 large comfy beds, air conditioning, massive flatscreen TV, fridge, microwave, lovely pool and spa, fitness room, etc, etc and all for only a few dollars more I won't hurry back to Stinson Beach. But if you want to stay in Stinson here is fine, not fancy or great value and don't try to squeeze four people in, but it's clean and pleasant.
