“Historical Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2010

My colleagues and I stayed for three nights at the Springville in for a work retreat. There were a dozen of us and we could not have enjoyed the accommodations more. The Inn is a beautiful, historical inn with all the modern amenities. For those with a penchant for the paranormal, but inn is reputed to be haunted. I saw no ghosts, but I heard plenty of stories. The staff was really on the ball attending to our many logistical needs. They have a great restaurant, too with a wonderful menu. Their bar exuded a wonderful atmosphere as well with a nice combination of travelers and locals. Both the bar and restaurant provided excellent and timely service. We enjoyed some live music on their outdoor area as well and it was such a fun evening. I highly recommend this wonderful inn—it is a well-kept secret and a true gem.

I spent a wonderful weekend at the Springville Inn B&B. It was great the food was so yummy and the treated my husband and I like we were celebs. The room was comfy and warm, It made you feel like you were special. It is set back in a small town that is so friendly and relaxed. All in all it was the best vacation get away my husband and I have shared in our last ten years of marriage. Big thanks to everyone there.

This is a quaint little place with a great resturant/bar attached. Parking is easy (you can pretty much park right outside your room). There is a playground for kids right across the street (next to a little fire sation - very cool if ou have boys who love firemen and fire trucks!). You can walk or drive to the creek, great hikes, a golf course etc... The resturant serves delicious food and the complimentary breakfast (with the famous quiches) is on point. If you want something quick and easy there is a burger shack a stone's throw away. Visit, enjoy, and be treated like family!

Our stay was a delightful, peaceful experience. The convenience of the restuarant was plus. The food was very tasteful with excellent service. I would not hesitate to book again and enjoy a long weekened or a week to view the mountains and its treasures. The owner was gracious and made sure the quest were okay with the accomodations.

I have been coming to the Springville Inn for years beginning shortly after it was renovated by the current owners. It defines the term, "Casual Elegance" and it's location in the foothills of the southern Sierras is perfect for day trips into the mountains. Of course, there's plenty to do in town as well - shopping at the quaint stores or listening to live music at the Inn, etc. While all the food is good at the restaurant, I highly recommend the Filet, which is always cooked perfectly to my liking. This is a place to relax, unwind and enjoy life in the not-so-fast lane!

You folks are like returning again to revisit any really good wine.

Your Inn gives us the familiarity and comfort of knowing all is good and peaceful here, no one can bother me here, the food and wine are great, scenery is beautiful and breath taking and the rooms are always warm and comfortable.

Thank you guys again for another lovely memorable stay.

I've stayed at the Springville Inn a multitude of times over the past many years. My most recent visit being early June 2010 and have always been treated like family. The folks are friendly, the service attentive and the food is absolutely magnificent! The bar is a friendly environment to chat with the locals and the food and beverage prices quite reasonable. The room rates are a bargain and I’d recommend treating yourself to one of the spacious and comfy suites.
If you're looking for a getaway from the city (whichever city) you can be assured that your stay in the foothills of the Sierras at the Springville Inn will be a delightful “Breath of Fresh Air”. I’ve recommended it to a number of friends and they all express their gratitude for sharing this lovely B&B with them.
Come with a yearning to explore the magnificent countryside of mountains and Giant Sequoias, or the desire to play a round of golf with the mountains as a backdrop, and you’ll be assured of developing that appetite the Springville Inn’s chefs are so famous for satisfying.
