after arriving from a coast to coast flight I went to the shuttle courtesy area. I proceeded to phone the number, after waiting an hour the shuttle showed up. After arriving and checking in I was assigned a room directly across from the elevator. I requested another room and was given it. When I finally went to sleep, the quilt and bed sheets were soaking wet. Proceeded to front desk whereupon they gave me dry sheets and said I had to make up the bed because there was no housekeeping on duty.
About a week later I had returned back to SF from ASIA and went to the same lousy hotel.
Before leaving I had requested the same room down the hall away from the elevator.
Well you guessed it, When I checked back in the only room available was directly across from the elevator. The nightmare begins. Went to front desk to complain, manager was called on phone and he starts yelling claiming there was no record requesting the same room. Also, when I complained about the wet sheets on my last visit the manager says, how do I know they were really wet just because you said so . The manager was not there when I complained although the nite manager was. The manager know says
I will call central reservations ands cancel your reservation and you should be grateful because there will be no charge. This is eleven o'clock PST after flying 22 hours and countless time zones, I am standing in the lobby and told to go elsewhere. Even though there was a best western and holiday inn next door I was so tired I could not gather the strength to leave but I should have. I endured a nite of elevator doors opening and closing. Add insult to injury the bathroom was cleaned with Clorox and the smell emanated in the room the entire nite.
I left on an early flight grateful to leave the hotel room from hell.
There was nothing quality about the hotel or staff stay at the best western or holiday inn express instead.

2) Management staff received additional training concerning the courteous manner in which they are to treat our valued guests.
