“Great price, location, and room.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

KEEP IN MIND, THIS IS A GLORIFIED MOTEL! First and foremost, to echo what some others have said on here, the front desk service was less than exemplary. There is an Asian Lady up front who was very reluctant to initiate the question of, "May I help you?" When she did help us, she was very short and not willing to share more than the minimum information.

TO THE POSITIVES.... the queen bed was comfortable, room 324, south facing room on the north wing. Again, keep in mind, this seems like a former "motel" which has worked it's way up to a hotel apparently. It's been worked and redone to be a little better in terms of quality/finish/feel. The air conditioner also worked well and was confy.

The lobby is very nice and homey, the free breakfast room is nice and a BONUS to save a buck or two every day. As for their "business" lounge, only if you want to PAY for an internet computer, would you ever use this room. There is no secure internet connection available to you for free. The service aside from the front desk is pretty good. The rooms were cleaned very well and taken care of in terms of towels/soap/shampoo.

Airport access, HOLY CRAP, it's one of the closest hotels to SFO airport! Take a shuttle to and from here, and make your travels that much easier.

Room Tip: This is NOT a high end hotel, but it will save you a ton of money during high season, it's a pla...

This was a great hotel for the money we paid. We booked 2 weeks in advance for the dates of July 3 - July 7 2013. Total hotel cost was $333. There were no hidden fees. None! There is a Denys and an IHOP within walking distance. Two gas stations to choose from. A Costco that is minutes from the hotel and a shopping mall that is about 15 minutes from the hotel. Downtown San Francisco is about 10 minutes. Candle Stick Park is about 5 minutes.

No complaints with the staffs. The only things that we did not like were the following:
1) Old carpet
2) Pillows too small and flat
3) Room was kind off cold during the night
4) No fan in the bathroom
Other than what I mentioned above, the hotel was a great value for us and we are definitely are going to book this hotel when we return to S.F.

By the way we stayed in 308.

Generally this hotel is ok. Comparing with its price, location, and etc. The room is ok. There's a complimentary internet but just at the lobby area. What make me reduce the rating score of this hotel is the front staff. She was very rude to us. We've got the room at the back building but she did not explain the way and position of the room clearly. What we did was walk around to find the room by ourselves.

Pros: Complimentary breakfast, cheap, easy to find, next to chinese buffet restaurant.

Cons: Worn-out hotel, the back building is pretty old. Front staff manner was terrible.

Room Tip: There are two buildings. The back building is the old one, drive to the back and park nearby bacaus...

We stayed in here in June 2013 nice enough hotel , no coffee or fridges in the room which was a big downside, also it costs 16 dollars each to get from the airport on the Bart to downtown so once your out during the day ............. your out ! Nothing in the vicinity for eating and drinking unless you dont mind spending 8/10 dollars a pint and a very expensive meal decent meal. If we were stopping over during flights would stay here again, although can get very noisy during the night with people leaving

We planned to stay in SF for a few days during our trip, but due to the absurd hotel prices downtown we decided to stay just outside the city centre. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and did not spend much time here except for sleeping. The rooms were clean and rather spacious, but the room and interior is old. The only negative thing to say is thst the rooms are not very sound isolated and if you live nesr the reception you wake up at night hearing people walk by with their suitcases for a late check-in or early chech out (flights?).

Recommend the hotel for travellers visiting SF on a budget (with their own car). The receptionists were very helpfull with practicalities and informstion.

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Anywhere. Carpeting so soiled that I kept my shoes on. GROSS! The TV? 14inch so old fashioned it looked like it come from a garage sale. As a matter of fact, the furniture must have come from a garage sale as well. What did they charge my credit card for? Damage? The place was disgusting. I never would have stayed here had I seen the room. And there was no refund as it was prepaid via Hotels.com. This is now the second review I counted on when choosing a hotel. Not sure I will do it again. Pay the extra $$ and get a decent room.

Room Tip: Do not stay here. Great hotels across the street.

Deceptive business practices here. Wasn't informed that when I checked in & handed over my cc & CADL (as is protocol@most hotels/motels), that they were charging my card $40 for assumed damages. Room was PREPAID through Hotwire. There's only satellite tv w/o 'on demand' or PPV. No room service. So, why charge your prepaid guests as if you don't trust them? Most hotels/motels ONLY authorize the charge, but don't run it through. Later that night, when I asked about said charge, I was informed it wouldn't be credited for 7 days!!!
Bathroom has no ventilation & there's no windows that open. No deadbolt or latch on door, only chain & regular lock for room key. No fire escape map on back of door. Due to overpriced chinese buffet on grounds, smells like fish when you run heater or a/c or open door.
Not up to current ADA code. Also, in flight path of SFO.
The only thing good is that the room was generally clean & quiet. The tiny tv (abt 19") got ok reception after I tightened connections. Bed was comfortable. Pillows like rocks (brought my own). Won't ever stay here again. Have stayed@many hotels/motels in area yearly for volunteer event, but this one was definitely the worse so far!
