“No Refund - Better to look for other place.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

This Inn was suggested by one of our relative. They only based it by its good location.

The good:
- Near a gas station.
- Near restaurants.
- Near BART.
- Good sized rooms.
- Clean bathroom.

The bad:
- Itchy bed sheets.
- Lighting turns off every 20 mins.
- I don't know how, but their TV managed to make movies like it was a home movie.
- Roof were leaking on the hallway.
- There was a homeless person on the hallway.
- Funky smell.
- Cockroaches underneath the microwave oven.
- You can't refund if you booked for more than 1 day and would like to transfer (Highlighted in their reception booth.

Room Tip: If you plan to book here. Get the lower floors, there are no elevators if you're carrying lugga...

Okay, this isn't the Ritz, it isn't even Motel 6 (the upgraded properties). Yes, the carpet is a concern (I wouldn't walk barefoot on it), the sheets had a few stains, and the towels are very tired and worn. But the bathroom was clean, the room is big (plenty of space to work and not feel claustrophobic), and the refrig is large enough to put a few days worth of food inside. Bring your own iron and hair dryer.

The best part of this hotel is the convenient access to downtown San Francisco without paying $200 to $400 a night. This hotel is about $85 with tax; online deals can be found for about $78 including tax.

It is a very pleasant, safe. 10 minute walk to the South San Francisco bart station. On the way back from work, you can stop at Trader Joe's, Starbucks, Chase Bank, or Costco. There are several restaurants and a small grocery outlet across the street.

The location is pretty quiet. I did use ear plugs but the one night I forgot to put them in, I still slept great. The people who own/run the hotel are very nice.

If you are working a few days in San Francisco and aren't planning on spending a lot of time in your room, I definitely recommend this location.

Room Tip: It is 3 stories. As with almost all hotels, if someone is above you, you will hear them. I always...

You will not see a lobby in the hotel. We had to pass the credit card through a hole under a window while standing in the shallow doorway in cold. The air conditioner does not work at daytime, at nighttime, it took such long time to warm up, do not know why. The pillow could not be called a pillow and the sheet is so cheep. Microwave is just settled on a chair, not safe for kids at all. I made such a mistake that I should not booking the hotel for our staying without checking reviews. Very disappointed with the no smile-face owner and his families.

We stayed here looking for an inexpensive place to sleep while on a short stay in SF. Accordingly the accommodations were spartan but for the price one could not expect more. The room was clean with daily maid service. No toiletries, other than soap, were provided but was available at the desk if you asked. Places to eat are nearby. I would stay again if something closer to the city for a like price was not available.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The king size bed was comfortable. My room had a microwave and mini-fridge. There are barely any amenities in the room. No iron, no shampoo or bath soap. You only get a couple of bars of hand soap. Basic cable TV only, not even any cable news channels are offered. The Internet crawls. I had to use my phone instead of my laptop. Parking was a bit limited, but you can also park on the street. The front desk people were friendly, but I did not like receiving a phone call 20 minutes before check-out time asking if I was going to leave.

Room Tip: The hotel is close to the freeway and public transportation. While there are fast food restaurants o...
