The rooms were very spacious and clean. The service was wonderful and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit San Francisco.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. After staying in downtown San Francisco (prior arriving at this Hampton Inn) at one of those 5 star hotels that you have to pay for everything to include parking at $57 dollars and internet at $10 per day this was a welcome relief. The hotel had free parking, free internet, easy access to the city and the airport, excellent hot breakfast, and a friendly staff. To put it simple they kept the breakfast trays full, room service was prompt, and when I called and said the printers were not working in the business center they responded immediately. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. Only thing I would mention is this hotel is not new but is kept up well.

We stayed 7 nites in this hotel and was well worth it. It only took 10-15 minutes on the freeway to go into city centre/wharf area and the traffic was never that bad. The hotel staff were wonderful and very helpfull. As always the manager reception and breakfast were great and with 2 teenagers well worth it. We used the laundry facilities there and the only downfall was there were only 2 washers & 2 dryers and it seemed the nite we were doing the laundry everyone else had the same idea. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and were always cleaned with perfection. The front desk referred restaurants close by that were very good and within walking distance. We always try to stay with Hamptons as the service/rooms are fantastic.

We came up this way so my husband can run the 1st half of the San Francisco Marathon at the end of July. We found the Hampton Inn based on previous trip advisor reviews. We liked that parking was free, internet was free and they had a great breakfast too. We thought about staying in the city of San Francisco but the deal killer was the $50+ parking per day for most of the hotels in the city.

The Hampton Inn was real quiet during our stay. It's in an business area and the hotel was away from the freeway. Our room was facing the Embassy suites next door but who stays in the room while you're up in San Francisco. Most of the nearby restaurants were on the other side of freeway just down the street (about a 5 minute drive). Our room was pleasant with a refrigerator and a microwave oven plus we had a sofa bed and coffee table.

Loved the breakfast here. It's a little more than the usual continental breakfast. They had make your own waffles, hot eggs and sausage, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fruits and packaged pastries. Coffee, tea, and orange juice was available.

It was about a 15 minute drive to the city of San Francisco on the weekend. The couple of days when we drove into town, we just parked our car near the Embarcadero and took public transportation everywhere. We got the 3 day Muni pass, which was good for Muni buses and cable cars. (Cable Cars cost $5 one way.) We took Bart one time into the city, where the nearby Bart station was about a 10 minute drive away, which had a parking garage. We saved a lot of $$$ by staying at the Hampton Inn!

We loved our stay here and if we are ever in this area again, we will stay here again. BTW my husband loved running the 1st half of the San Francisco Marathon. He loved running on the roadbed of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Our week stay at this Hampton was wonderful! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful and made our stay in San Francisco so much more enjoyable. The location was perfect for us, and we saved on daily parking fees. We were able to make day trips with a little driving, but not bad. We got to see everything we wanted in 6 days-- Baseball game, Muir Woods, Pebble Beach, Alcatraz, city of San Francisco, Napa Valley, a longer day to Yosemite Park, and more! The service was excellent, with everyone working to make us feel welcome and important. The breakfast was very good, with restaurants very nearby. Free internet was nice, and good room prices, too. We would definitely recommend this Hampton to travelers..and hope that we can return there some day too.

Hampton Inn is situated in a very quiet and traffic free zone, affordable, clean, staff are friendly and near the airport. Have great nearby restaurants, gasoline stations and churches. They also offer free hot breakfast which by the way is very good.

We'll go back next summer 2011 and stay there for a longer time.

Check it out, don't take my word for it.
