After flying in from Las Vegas and landing at night, it was really good to find such lovely accommodation a short drive from the airport. It was quite difficult to follow the directions downloaded from the website but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised.

The hotel is in a great location overlooking the marina and we had a lovely view from our bay window. We were offered a free upgrade on arrival and dinner was immediately booked in the Italian restaurant which served excellent food. Staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Room was superb with a fireplace, coffee maker, bathrobes and lots of nice touches. The best part was breakfast being served in our room the next morning. We sat in comfortable chairs looking out of the bay window at all of the boats in the marina. Everything was spotlessly clean. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Recently stayed for two nights. Took a cab from san francisco airport which cost $16 plus tip. Excellent service from staff, and complimentary breakfasts included in price. The prices of the mini bar and laundry were surprisingly reasonable. For example, a can of coke from the mini bar was $1.25.
We were heading to Alcatraz the day after arrival, and their courtesy shuttle took us to the BART station. On return to the hotel later that day, we took the SamTrans 292 bus which stops at Airport Blvd and Butler Ave, which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel, along Oyster Point Blvd. It was a bit windy, given the proximity to the ocean, so make sure you take warm clothing along if you do decide to walk.
They also offered the courtesy free shuttle to the airport on check out. The breakfasts were generous sizes, however the croissants were stale.

  • Liked — generous sized room, great view of the bay, good value for money
  • Disliked — stale croissants

My husband and I got a king-sized room on the third floor for part of our honeymoon. We were originally looking at hotels in San Francisco, but didn't want to pay for parking and the overpriced rooms. We chose this place because it's a little secluded in the sense that you don't feel like you are in the center of the hustle and bustle of downtown. But it's really close to the freeway, so you can get around pretty quickly.

We also scored a "holiday of the bay package." We got three nights for the price of two. A part of the package was a nice stocking full of fruit and chocolate when we first got there. About 5-10 minutes after checking in, the front desk called us to ask if the room would be good for us. Throughout the stay, they had great customer service. (They new we were on our homeymoon, so maybe they were being extra nice.) Checking in and out was very efficient. Whoever was at the front desk was always helpful with giving directions and giving information about things that tourists would be interested in.

The room was great. The room was larger than I had thought it would be and it was very clean. One of my favorite things about this hotel is that they deliver breakfast to your room. They had a great place by the window facing the bay for us to eat each morning. The food was light, but filling. They give you options for breakfast and you just leave them by your door the night before. The bay view was gorgeous. The fireplace in the room was a great touch. It's a great place to unwind. The trail that is outside was pleasant to walk on, but it is short. I have to say, this place was nicer than I was expecting. I would definitely go to The Inn at Oyster Point again.

I made reservations at this hotel because of its close proximity to the airport and because of the great reviews on tripadvisor. We paid $140 for a queen bed (room 218).

Accommodations: The room was exceptionally clean. Most of the furniture was in good condition, although the easy chairs and table in the bay window had a bit of a "lived in" look. The bed was very comfortable and had a fluffy mattress cover to give it an extra luxury feel. The linens were crisp and clean. The view out the bay window was absolutely gorgeous -- it was so relaxing to sit by the fireplace (just flip the switch to turn on) and enjoy the view of the bay and pier. A scenic walking/jogging path can be accessed directly from the hotel sidewalk. The path meanders along the edge of the bay. My husband and I enjoyed a leisurely walk and even followed a red-tailed hawk as it perched on trees close by. There is also a small beach near the path and hotel, but the beach looked a bit dirty so we didn't stop there. On the downside, since the hotel is close to the airport, the sound of an occasional airplane overhead is not uncommon.

Staff: Everyone was friendly and helpful. We arrived a day early and tried to book a room an extra day but unfortunately the inn was completely sold out -- the staff member at the reservation desk made suggestions on other hotels that still had some availability.

Food: The inn serves a complimentary in-suite continental breakfast although we were not able to have breakfast because we had to check out before it started. The on-site bar has a happy hour every Mon-Fri from 5:00-7:00. Complimentary wings, won tons and another item (not sure what it was) were served. My husband said they were very tasty. I tried the special drink of the day -- it wasn't quite as sweet as I had hoped for so the bartender very graciously doctored it up until I liked it. She then asked me my name and named the drink after me -- at least it was named after me that night while I was drinking them. :) The inn also has an on-site restaurant, called Dominic's. My husband and I both enjoyed our meal there -- not the best food we had on our trip to Calif but it was pretty good.

We were looking for a place between Monster Park and the airport. It was a great spot with easy access to each. The atmosphere was calm and the ameneties generally nice. The building is in good repair but the furnishing are looking a little tired. We were frustrated that the hot water wasn't working all evening. It wasn't until the next day (mid-morning) that it was resolved. They offered to let us shower in another room - but it wouldn't have been the same!
All in all, it was a nice stay and a good value
