“Great place to stay for a week.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Clean modern rooms with every thing you need to spend a few days with a fridge and microwave. Hot cooked breakfast with bacon, egg, hash browns, juice, coffee and toast included in a nice and friendly restaurant on the grounds . So, it does cost a bit more but worth evey dollar. The pool area is very inviting and the grounds provide a garden setting.
R. Sowers

Room Tip: The newer addition is quieter but still close to everything.

This was a very good stay.
The hotel is a little overpriced, but the breakfast is unusually good. It is not the normal breakfast buffet, but a real bacon and eggs with hash-browns restaurant with a friendly waitress. The fruit plate was fresh and healthy.
Rooms were fine, bed comfy and everything predictable.

Our stay in this hotel was great! We had what was listed as an over-sized King room and it was very spacious. It was very clean and had everything we needed, even slippers! The shower had pretty weak water pressure, but other than that the room was what we wanted and needed. The fridge and microwave were very convenient and we were happy with the pool and hot tub, with both at comfortable temperatures. I wasn't thrilled with the way they do their "free" breakfast. You get coupons to use at the restaurant in the parking lot. This is good because you get more choices and better quality food than the normal Best Western free breakfast, but it was bad because you have to tip and we had to pay for our child's meal because they only gave us vouchers for the adults in the room. So our "free" breakfast ended up being over ten dollars. Still very cheap for good food, but when they advertise free, it's important to note that it's not. Overall though an excellent place to stay. I would recommend it to others and when back in the area, it will be my first choice to stay again.

The room (two queen beds) that we were in was basic but very comfortable. The woodsy patio view was pleasant to have. The room was fresh, clean, well maintained, and quiet. The bedding had crisp clean sheets. The bathroom was clean...no mold. We especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We chose the traditional breakfast (you get to chose from four breakfast meal types). This breakfast consisted of eggs, hash browns, three slices of bacon or sausages, choice of juices, a cup of very fresh and sweet melons and berries, choice of toasts, and coffee. Also the internet service was very fast. While we were in Sonora, we visited Railtown in James Town and Pine Crest Lake in Stanislaus National Forest. The next day we left for Yosemite's north west entrance at Big Oak Flat Road. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: The non-smoking rooms with a woodsy view were very nice and quiet.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus while visiting Yosemite. This is a 1.5 hour drive from Yosemite Village which makes the day long but, if you are up for drive than I would recommend this location. They offered a coupon for a free breakfast at a nearby restaurant, Pine Tree. The food was pretty good. We even visited them again for dinner. The hotel was very clean. I would not recommend staying near the stairs as the walls are thin and can hear people walking the stairs and parking lot noise.

The room was very, very clean and spacious. The hotel was easy to get to and close to shopping center. Liked the idea of receiving coupons for breakfast as the restaurant was great, food good, service friendly. I have told my friends about my stay and suggested that they stay here when they're in the area.
My family thought I was a little crazy when I raved about the fact that there was a soap dish in the bathroom . . . I hate it when you have to put the soap on the counter and it slides around :-)

Only stayed here for one night but I was really impressed. The room was very spacious, clean and bright. Check in staff very welcoming and more than happy to help with local information. The highlight for me was the diner, really good food, amazing cheap and really friendly pub just next door.
