My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Sonoma for 4 days in April. It is such a lovely, quiet little place with nice homey touches. We loved the fireplace in our room, the afternoon wine and cheese and the rooftop hot tub. There were even balloons and a little box of chocolates in our room waiting for us for my birthday. It is in the perfect location-a short stroll to Sonoma square. The breakfast was more substantial than your run of the mill continental breakfast. There was always an egg dish and home baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals. Nice way to start the day but I could see it getting repetitive after a few days. The receptionist was very helpful with getting our wine shipped though she didn't have much knowledge about filling out the forms. All in all we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend the Inn at Sonoma for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing place to unwind after driving around wine country!
