This used to be Roche winery, on it's obvious perch as gateway to Sonoma and Napa wine country.... just off the junction of the 37 and 121, it's hard to miss... just after Sears Point. They have razed the old winery to the ground, and built what is perhaps the most stunning winery in all of Napa & Sonoma.
This winery's location is such that you don't need to scream "me me me" like other wineries, and the Sonoma based ownership has done a phenomenal job treating the land, & rebuilt winery, with great respect. The architecure is amazing - modern & stylishly contemporary, but it's classic, chateau design is exciting and welcome, a beautiful blended homage. The stunning grounds are balanced, and understated... something desperately needed for the gaudy wineries around the area and further north. No theme park rides, no superfluous art shows and silly sculptures... just stunning architecture all oriented and purposed towards making and celebrating stunning wine.
Not sure it matters, but for info and tasting deals you can hit their social stuff.. it worked for me.
