For the price for one night, I was expecting better service and greater amenities. It was difficult to find the entrance, the valet failed to open car door or help with luggage when we arrived, receptionist less than helpful, we had to ask a maid to help us find our room. There is a charge for internet even in the lobby and public areas. We've stayed in many hotels around the world and have generally received more for less. We are here only 1 night, and so far we are less than impressed.

Room Tip: It's such a large hotel, and just arrived this afternoon, so I'm not sure. We got lost walk...

Grounds/Spa, Room, and Staff were excellent!

Staff was very welcoming and helpful from the minute we arrived, the staff helped ease our stay after our flight was delayed and we needed a late check in. Had excellent spa day with amazing back drop of Sonoma and CA pine trees.

Absolutely lovely stay at The Mission Inn. We stayed in a suite, which was fully appointed and we took full advantage of the fabulous fireplace and patio. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had no plans, and wandered around Sonoma Plaza for an afternoon, and then ate dinner in Sante by the pool. Be sure to try the cheese cart - the selection is amazing. The next day we took advantage of the spa and pool and then ate dinner in Sonoma. The service and ambiance of the whole resort was wonderful. We found the location to be very central to many parts of Sonoma, which was preferable to being directly on the Square which is noisier with greater traffic. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: One of the outer buildings is preferable for a quieter room

Sonoma Mission Inn has been updated and is a delightful, gracious place to stay. Restaurant is exceptional. Service is excellent. Rooms are clean, well-equipped and well maintained. I always try to stay here when in Sonoma.

The grounds were beautiful and the Jack London suite was great with its two fireplaces. If you are staying in the suites, make sure you get a room on the second floor so you can open your curtains and enjoy the courtyards. I didnt visit the spa but i heard it was magnificient. The staff was very attentive, great custiomer service.

Nice restaurant on site but make sure you go to Sonoma Square and taste the local flavor of Sonoma.

Room Tip: upgrade to the suites!

We enjoyed our stay over all. Lovely grounds, great dining at Sante, good treatments at spa. I found the spa noisy with groups of people so did not relax there. The pool was quieter and lovely. The wine tasting each day is a nice addition and allows one to get to know the area vintners without leaving the property. Staff are overall helpful and professional.

We have stayed twice before, and looked forward to returning. We stayed on the 2nd level above the lobby in a Standard King room. I asked for an upgrade but the resort was full. The issues we had was the room above us, the ceiling creaked every time somebody walked. The bathroom sink knobs fell off each time you turned them. We could hear the crowd in the Lobby during the evening. The bed was very comfortable. The Spa was very nice. The Big 3 cafe next door is not the place to eat breakfast on a budget. It was $25 - $30 per person for a standard breakfast. Sante the dining room is not for a couple on a budget either. The food was great but you can drop $200 per couple without trying for dinner. The bar has good prices for food. All the staff were very nice and helpful. We might come back, except get a Junior Suite away from the Lobby.

Room Tip: Do not get a room above the Lobby area due to the noise. There are no elevators for those rooms. The...
