Big gap between what other reviewers said and my experience. Restaurant staff was friendly, and there were more vegetarian choices than at many Amer-Chinese places. But the food was mostly tasteless and not very interesting. While KG is better than many of the other Chinese restaurants in Del Mar-Solana Beach, that is not saying much - the two towns for some reason have awful Chinese choices. If you are a tourist here and want Chinese food, by all means head down the 805 to the many delicious Chinese restaurants on Convoy Street. if you crave Asian food and want to stay in Solana Beach, it's better instead to choose one of the excellent Japanese (Nobu, Samurai, etc.) or Thai (Taste of Thai) restaurants in town.
