Wanted to like this place, located in a strip mall behind a Carl's Jr. It has beautiful décor, nice seating and a Chef's counter but this place has no idea who it really is. It's trying to be: a pizza restaurant, a bar, a gelato bar, kid friendly, sports friendly but it mysteriously shows old black and white videos above the pizza ovens that NO ONE watches. When a game is on (behind the chalk board at the bar) the strange video is playing and the bizarre selection of music is going, it's very difficult to enjoy a meal. Food is decent but no where near unique and the prices are astronomical: $25+ for a small pizza? Mixed drinks are +$10 each...all this in a strip mall behind a Carl's Jr. For better ambiance, food and fun go to Blue Ribbon in the Lumberyard in Encinitas, they pack the place for a reason - pizza is great, atmosphere is fun, and it knows who it is.
