The Storybook Inn is a story in its self! Hearing it from the "Host" with the most Jim, very likeable, most pleasant person you'll ever meet. We loved the Inn, charming, cozy and comfortable. Our room was the Swiss Family Robinson, large, comfy with a beautiful view, breathtaking, also with a large spacious bathroom. The "view was spectacular, loved the evening city lights from atop the mountain, so relaxing. Everybody who visits must meet Jim with his many stories, and you"ll love his kindness and ready to make your stay a welcoming one. Jim had "cheese & crackers with the wine waiting for a friendly social hour. Our plans are to return! Highly recommend "The Storybook Inn.

This delightful inn is situated in Skyforest, just East of Lake Arrowhead. The room was large and clean, with access to a deck with a sweeping, panoramic view of the Inland Empire. Jim was the friendly and helpful manager who charmed us with his warmth, conversation, and daily wine and cheese in the evenings. The location of the inn is convenient to Lake Arrowhead and to the ski resorts to the East while offering a quiet privacy from the surrounding resorts. It's surrounded by beautiful forest, has ample parking, and is across the street from an excellent sandwich shop. There was no TV in the room, but we thought it would ruin the ambience of the mountain retreat weekend anyway.

Such an amazing stay at the Storybook! Jim is the new manager and does an exceptional job of making you feel welcome. From what we heard, a lot has been done to this place. A brand new set of sweeping decks and an intense cleaning makes this place unrecognizable from what I would imagine it must have been like having read the old reviews. We stayed in the "Swiss Family Robinson" room and were astounded by the view. The wine and cheese and breakfast that Jim had set out in the evening and morning hit the spot. It was the perfect New Year's vacation and I can't wait to go back!
