Some people would call this really small restaurant/bar, a hole-in- the-wall, or dive. A few tables, like twelve, separated by a wall, with a really small bar, and a couple of stools. People don't come here for anything but the food! This place is always packed, as it is so, so small that it does not take very many people to fill it up. They don't take reservations, so plan on a 15-45 minute wait. The best time to come is Happy Hour early from 4p-6p. If you like smoky ribs, and good portions, it is worth the wait. Prices? Claim Jumper & Cheesecake Factory prices, not cheap, average for ribs. Not fall-off-the-bone ribs, which are over-cooked. Their corn bread has cranberries in it, not to my liking. Their big mark-up is beer and high priced mixed drinks. Micro-brew beer at higher than average prices. A couple of beers, full rack of baby back ribs & pulled pork, set us back $63. Parking, that's a real challenge, so plan on walking a bit unless you get lucky on the street. Take change for a meter if you need it. My lady likes this place, it's her favorite place for BBQ in the Long Beach/Seal Beach Area, as she lived here last summer, and tried them all in the area.
