“A great place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

My wife and I stopped by here yesterday and walked through this very nice, modern facility. It is situated on a beatiful area right near the beach and it is very top notch and state of the art. What a great place this is to do the wonderful work they do, stop by for an hour and donate to this great cause.

“Family fun at the Marine Mammal Center”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

We just visited the Center and found it very inspiring, educational and emotional. The kids got to see a fish milkshake being made. Yuck! ;) You can get a coupon and see the pictures we took here: http://thebubblybay.com/?p=216 Enjoy!

“Educational but not many animals to look at.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

We must have gone at a down time because there wasn't any action in any part of the facility. We walked around reading all the signs and looking at the displays. The only action was a few sea lions and seals sitting in their pens yelping at each other. Should have taken the docent tour or the audio tour. Next time.

“Doing wonderful work here!! Worth a visit..”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012 via mobile

We visited here this morning. On your own you may not get much out of it. If possible get a docent to guide you. They are doing wonderful work here nursing sea lions and such back to health. A great gift shop and remember all your purchases support the ongoing work here. Not really for toddlers but more better for school age kids and older.

“Kids enjoyed it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

We popped here on a hot Sunday morning having just moved to the area and not having a clue about where to visit.

The staff were amazing, they were friendly, helpful and very patient with the constant questions from my 3 children. In addition to the information around the centre there was also a table with sheets to colour. The gift shop was lovely and reasonably priced and all in it was a lovely couple of hours.
