Escaped to the Inn at Saratoga after two days in San Francisco. What a gem of a place in the middle of seemingly nowhere! What a nice surprise to have a large, clean, very comfortable room overlooking the ravine. The king bed was so comfortable and we slept so well here in the country especially after two days of hiking at Big Basin and Castle Rock. Nice to have hors d'oeuvres served at the end of the day and even nicer to have them on the outdoor patio. In the evening, we were very happy to pick up food and a bottle of wine and return to the Inn's patio, eat our dinner and relax with a book thereafter. Breakfast included a good selection of carbs and protein and a very nice platter of fresh fruit. I recommend this inn without hesitation!
