“Very nice rooms!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

I love the interior and the beds are really comfortable. Great pick for business stays as restaurants are right outside the door. The street is very movie-like. :)

There is also a free breakfast in the morning.

It is also very accessible and traffic is smooth even in the morning. I would recommend this hotel for business travelers.

Lovely hotel, nothing too fancy, but clean, nice and in a lovely area where you can walk downtown and choose from several great restaurants. Have stayed here numerous times and I always select it over and above the chains, even though I am missing my points. If you like to walk for exercise, the neighborhoods are lovely around the hotel too. The exercise room itself is not very fancy...but really not necessary if the weather is nice.

Room Tip: Better water pressure on the lower floors I think....?

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights, as my husband had a meeting to go to nearby. We were very happy with our room, which was large and comfortable, and looked out onto trees. We were just near the door that was at the level of Saratoga Avenue, which made it much easier to get to all the fabulous restaurants in the vicinity. The speed of the wifi was the best we had on our trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were very happy with our room at the Inn. We were staying there because we attended a family wedding at the Mountain Winery which is not far from the Inn. (15 min.)
I think the rooms have been updated since some of the internet pictures were taken. The decor is more tailored. No wallpaper in our room and no comforters with ruffles. We had a large suite with a sectional sofa, flatscreen TV, long white tile counter with brass sink and fridge. The bed was advertised as a murphy, but instead was a nice, comfortable queen mattress with box springs. It was not a bed that could be put up and down. It had a separate spacious dressing room which was helpful. The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful - we asked several favors of them. The location is beautiful; set under many sycamore trees, with a stream running across the back and tables and chairs on the patios overlooking the wooded area. There is a nice public park on the other side of the stream with equipment for children's play. Restaurants and shops are along the street and are easily walked to from the Inn. The whole area is quaint and lovely. All rooms have a DVD player and movies can be borrowed for free from the office.

Room Tip: Third floor rear suite had corner windows, lots of light, balcony, spacious, a round table with 4 ch...

We stayed two nights and felt we had made a good choice. The room was attractive, spacious and comfortable. The only disadvantage was that is was on the front of the hotel and traffic noise was a bit of a problem. Breakfast offered plenty of variety with one choice of a tasty hot dish.
The receptions area and dining room were a little down at heel and would benefit from some refurbishment. The bar area was a bit worse than down at heel, being somewhat drab and grubby. Staff were at all times helpful and friendly. With a short walk to downtown Saratoga with a very wide choice of restaurants and shops we enjoyed our stay and felt it was great value for money.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms on the front if traffic noise stops you from sleeping

I enjoyed a very restful stay with a late check-out after our centennial Great Gatsby Gala at Villa Montalvo. Checking in at 1am was easy and I was greeted by very friendly (and wide awake) staff as soon as I entered the softly lit lobby. The room was quite large with a wonderful bed, lots of pillows, nice linens, large tub, windows that open so I could enjoy the sounds of the stream below and a working balcony. The complimentary breakfast buffet was perfect with fresh muffins (small, not giant sized, so you enjoy more than one type), fresh fruit and many more items to choose from. They even kept it open for me a little longer as I arrived at closing time. The staff is gracious and very quiet in the morning, allowing me to sleep in.Thank you for providing a beautiful and comfortable Inn that is in the heart of Saratoga and 5 minutes from Villa Montalvo.

Room Tip: I recommend upper floors if you want to sleep in so that any early risers dining on the outside pati...

Like many other reviewers, we were attending a concert at Mountain Winery. I booked a room at the only other hotel in Saratoga, but when we arrived the reservation could not be found. We were lucky that the Saratoga Inn had a room available. The room was very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities we have come to expect. The evening reception was a nice treat with good wine, cheese, and crackers. Morning continental breakfast was also tasty with a good selection. The Inn is in a perfect location for walking, shopping, and dining in town. The only reason I didn't give the Inn a 5 star is because the elevator was extremely slow!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the patio area have a small deck which is nice when the weather is good. (Not sur...
