“So yummy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Very traditional Italian food. Remember to make a reservation! We went at opening 5pm on a Wednesday and it was getting crowded!
The food and service were fantastic!

“Genuine Italian experience, casual atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This is a great choice for dinner if you are in the Santa Ynez area for dinner. The food we ordered was execellent. We had a pizza for an appetizer and took some of it home. It was still great the next day! It is a small place and gets quite busy and loud. The only downfall was the hostess who tried to seat us next to her station on the veranda! Since we had a reservation we said we would wait for a table in the main dining room. The service during our meal was very good.
It is a genuine Italian experience and you may even hear a few people speak Italian here. We would recommend it!

“Real Italian Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

In the area for a wine tour and had made reservations here based on online reviews. It was a chilly evening so we were disappointed that we were seated on the porch but the overhead heaters soon warmed us. I had the linguini with shrimp and mushrooms and it was perfect. The tirimisu was light and delicious and the restaurant honored our free dessert coupon from the wine tour. The wait staff were attentive and the food was served so promptly that it was almost too hot to eat. I would eat here regularly if it wasn't so far from Vermont where I live!

“Great Italian food, great atmosphere, great fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Just tried it for the first time night before last; going back again tonight. Great food in an unpretentious, comfortable, fun setting in rural Santa Ynez. Our favorite place in this area, among a fair number we have tried on an extended visit. Our server Blanca was terrific. (The Ballard Inn was also quite good, but a much more sedate, fine-dining experience.)

“Great Burata salad”

Wonderful to find some items that we've only had in Italy. Good food, but a little noisy and crowded.
