“Disappointed. Could have been better.”

I was super excited to find a hilton within my budget using my government discount...but in the end I would have been happier with a more typically budget friendly hotel. I was traveling with small children and thought breakfast "in room" was just going to be a great treat...NOT. It's room service..so mcdonalds was my breakfast. Wi-fi was not included...it's 9.95 per day. The desk did comp me wi-fi for the night tho. That was nice. I just felt like I was being nickle and dimed and it just wasn't my style. The room was nice, of course. Large and spacious. It did have the best temperature controls of the five hotels I stayed in. I was able to run the fan the entire time and set a temperature. LOVED that! Good location, beautiful, and close to freeway.

Had a living social coupon for a one night stay with 2 wine tastings. Staff was very helpful in showing us the area and how to get to the tastings. Restaraunt was really really good. not one complaint. the drinks were good, food was amazing, and wine was great.

Upon our arrival we were informed that the two queen beds bedroom we have booked through a third party was not available. They shameless blamed the third party company even though they recognized that our reservation was for a two queen beds bed room when we complained about the situation. Sure blame who is not in the room. They offered an extra bed to be brought into the room, which we accepted since it was almost midnight. That bed was disgusting. The mattress was visible after the night of sleep because the sheets moved and it had a million stains. They then charged extra, though it was not mentioned at the reception upon check-in or check-out.

We paid almost $200 to sleep in a extremely thin full of stains mattress in a really worn out bedroom.

Next time I will stay in another hotel in the wine country. There are plenty options.

The hotel is right off of the main artery through Sonoma, so the location can't be beat. We used the hotel for breakfast, one dinner, sleeping, and showering. For all of those things it was very good. It is a very pretty property - the rooms are a bit dated, I grant you, but for the price and the location this place is great for touring Sonoma.

This hotel is really worn out. The staff wasn't a lot better. Check is was poor, the guy kept playing on his phone. The room just smelled and the weeds were pretty tall out side our window. Really had no amenities. Paper cups for coffee. In fact after staying there, I returned my Hilton American Express card and will not stay at another Hilton. There are much better hotels for the price in Santa Rosa. I have stayed here a lot over the years, but it really is a motel six

We chose this hotel because it was close to family. Our room was an upgraded pool lanai room which we enjoyed a lot due to having family join us at the pool. The rooms are average, convenient mini fridge, nice TV etc... In Hilton's usual fashion however there just doesn't seem to be anyone paying attention to the details. The property has peeling paint from the deck to the trim and entire exterior. Maid service didn't happen on day in spite of me calling to request it. The screen door sticks, tables outside on the lanai were never cleaned and not cleared of glasses and things for the duration of our stay (3 days). Hilton isn't my favorite for this reason because its I feel high priced without any attention to detail.

We had a wonderful stay that was relaxing and a lot of fun! We arrived early and they had a room available for us. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was oh so comfy! We swam in the pool and hit the hot tub, both a good experience since they were very clean and proper temperatures. I had a massage and it was the perfect perk to this weekend. The restaurant/bar was fun and the food was excellent. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!
